Locking your Rollease Automate Paradigm Remote

All Paradigm remotes have a locking feature. Locking a remote doesn't allow multifunction buttons to work. For example, when locked, pressing the UP and STOP button will not put the shade into step mode. 

The LOCK button can be located by removing the battery cover. When pressed, the screen on the remote will show the letter "U" for unlocked or "L" for locked. 

Locking for Multiple Channel Remotes

To lock the remote, press and hold the LOCK button for 5 seconds until the display shows and "L". To unlock,  press and hold the LOCK button for 5 seconds until the display shows and "U".

Locking for Single Channel Remotes

Once you press the lock button, the remote is unlocked if a blue LED light on the front of the remote flashes. To lock, press and hold the LOCK button for 5 seconds. The LED light will turn from flashing to a constant light. To reverse this, press and hold the LOCK button for 5 seconds and the light will go back to flashing.
